2. Eliminate the rest.
Hey there! If you've dropped by, it's probably because you're curious to learn a bit more about me, if that's the case, thanks.
I'm Jorge — in the US, most folks call me by my name, but down in Mexico, every Jorge becomes a George, quite the irony. If you're looking for me on socials, you'll find me as Jorch, a playful blend of those two names, kind of like an onomatopoeia for the crossroads of both worlds.
Ever since I was a kid, I loved creating stuff in all sorts of ways. Drawing comics, making cartoons of my teachers, putting together collages from my mom's magazines, and hanging out in my grandpa's carpentry shop during summer vacations (that's him in the photo).
Looking back, I owe my love for creativity to my grandpa. I found my passion early, and I've stuck with it. I studied Industrial Design in Mexico and Chile, over six years ago, I pivoted to become a creative art director.
Now, as a creative, my goal is to stay true to the same sentiment I had as a kid while I was messing around in my grandpa's carpentry shop.
